Hackers’ Golf Tournament 2018

Please check in at the Pro Shop at least 30 min. prior to your assigned tee time. Please call Bill (705-722-7729) if you will be delayed.
Staff has our Players’ List with tee times, as a reference. Payment may be made with cash, debit or credit card ($45.00 all incl.)
- Power cart keys will be assigned at this time.
- Once you have your cart, please see Shag and Grayley at the white tent. You will receive a copy of the Rules and Format, a scorecard for your 2-some.
- Team World’s 2-somes will be given the Snake for each 4-some.
At “The Turn” there will be a choice of a cheeseburger or sausage plus a beer or a non-alcoholic drink at the back deck of the Blue Clubhouse. The BBQ person has a list of your Food and Drink order. BTW-the food and drink is courtesy of the Toonie Pot.
It is tradition for the groups to form a gallery behind the 18th green (after they have handed in their scorecards to Bob D. and Tim S. and obtained a beverage).
This may be a good time for the holders of the Snakes to reward their opposition with a drink?? It would also help to support Heritage Hills.
- Apres Golf: The awards ceremonies will take place in the White Tent… once all the scorecards and The Snakes have been collected. We hope to arrive at Tiff’s for dinner between 6:00 and 6:15. The 5 free wings are not forthcoming. We have 24 people confirmed for Tiff’s. Band starts at 7:00. Please arrange for a Safe Ride Home!

Holes #1 – #6 2-Man-Scramble No W. Virginias/Mullies Record one team score.
Holes #7 – #12 Jerry’s Game: On Par 5’s take the better 1st and 2nd shots and play your own ball from there. On Par 4’s take the better 1st shot and play your own ball from there. On Par 3’s play your own ball. Add both scores together for one score for each hole. “Putt everything out! …. unless opponents say to pick up”.
Holes #13 – #18 Best Drive…Play your Own Ball. Add 2 Scores for Each Hole.
*Record All Scores and Points please! Two points for a Win. One pt. for a Tie.
Scoring: Each pair will keep score for the 4-some. Check every 6 holes.
Play out all 18 holes, as every point is counted towards your Team World/Team Canada Totals to determine the 2018 Hackers’ Tournament Champions!
- Triple Bogey will be the highest individual score recorded… unless… the Actual Score makes a difference in winning/losing a hole.
- One minute (60 sec.) limit for finding a lost ball(s). Opponents should monitor this and don’t feel guilty! It’s not fair to the groups behind you.
Bob D. will collect scorecards for Team World. Tim S. for Team Canada. Thanks.
Snake Game: Each 4-some will be provided One Snake. Any 2-some who 3 Putts (individually or as a pair from #1 – #18)….gets The Snake. If there are 2 or more 3 Putts on one hole…the player with the shortest 1st Putt gets or keeps The Snake. The Last 2-some with The Snake buys the other 2-some a drink after the round. Team World 2-somes will receive The Snakes at Registration. Please return to Bill when you finish.

- #2 Closest to the Painted Line. Not longest drive.
- #6 Closest to the Pin.
- #8 Closest to the 100 yd. marker on 2nd shot.
- #11 Closest to the Pin.
- #12 Longest Drives. Team Canada (1) Team World (1) …..2 Markers.
- #18 Closest to the Pin on 2nd shot.

Hackers’ Cup Tournament Dress Code
Team World Dress Code:
Representing any country in the world in their colours and costume.
Example: Ireland, Scotland, Mexico, Germany, Iran, Russia, Holland etc.
Team Canada Dress Code:
Red and white is O.K. but any province/Hot Spot such as Newfie Land, Scova Notia,
Calgary, Markham, Smith Falls, Wasaga Beach etc. Inuit Landmarks such as:
Pigaarviit is “where you go to stay up late (to enjoy the long spring days).” Nuluujaak means “two islands that look like buttocks.”
Let’s have some fun with it! I will need a few volunteers to take some photos before, during and after the tournament. A few candid shots at Tiff’s would be great for Grayley and our fine website!!
